Video Tutorial: Construction Work In Progress

2016-09-28fp-workinprogressstepfinalc-wConstruction themed parties can leave you searching the internet, trying to find designs you can feature. When I had to prepare for one this week, I spent some time researching construction photographs, and then I put together some cheek art and masks which I thought might be speedy enough to paint for a party, but would look good on the face. I hope this simple construction design will help you put something special on your board if you happen across this theme in the future.

Materials

TAG (or Mehron Paradise) Yellow
TAG (or Mehron Paradise) Orange
TAG (or Mehron Paradise) Red
Wolfe or Diamond FX Black
Wolfe or Diamond FX White
#1 Round Brush
#5 Round or Small Filbert Brush
Sponge or Dabber
Snazaroo Brick Stencil

In the video, I said to paint a triangle in the center of the forehead, but I meant to say diamond. (Evidently I’m shape-challenged. It’s kind of like a person who reverses left and right when giving directions.) You can also use a triangle, since it’s common to see triangular construction signs, but the diamond is what I choose for this design.

Happy painting!
