Piece of Cheese

Piece of Cheese

Description

In a circle one person jumps in and stands in the shape of cheese and says “I’m a piece of cheese”. Someone else jumps in with something obvious that goes with that offer (“I’m a cracker”),  another person adds to it and creates a united picture (“I’m a glass of wine”). The first person in picks an object to keep. The other two leave, and the chosen object repeats what they are and it begins again.

Teaching Purpose

This is a good exercise for teaching being obvious. People don’t need to be clever or funny, they just need to jump in. Also as it requires people to join in, it’s a team effort and helps people support each other.
